To Kill a Mockingbird
Racism was a huge problem back in the 1930s and it still is a problem today. A lot of
colored people get hated on just because of the color of their skin. Even though some colored
people are good citizens and do not do anything wrong they still get prejudiced. In To Kill a
Mockingbird, by Harper Lee Tom Robinson is a victim of racism. The people who are racist
against Tom Robinson are Bob Ewell, Mayella Ewell, The town of Maycomb.
The Town of Maycomb are racist against Tom Robinson. One example they are racist
against him is the Jury said he was guilty even though he was an innocent man. Another example
is there was a mob that tried to kill him while Atticus was defending him. People in Maycomb
