Task 4:
1. UNDP will work closely with the Ministry of Industry and the Hydro–
Meteorological Service of Vietnam in a 15-month project to reduce CFC
emission in mechanical electrical refrigeration.
2. The project will be provided nearly half a million dollars by the Trust Fund
of UNDP, Montreal Protocol, and Australia’s Environment Protection Agency
to identify and implement reusable measures as well as reduce CFC emissions
economically.
3. “We believe that this project marks an important milestone for the removal of
ozone-depleting substances in Vietnam”, said UNDP Deputy Resident
