My Thoughts on The Kill Zone
The book Into the Kill zone is written by David Kilnger who served with the Los Angeles
Police Department for three and a half years, and with Redmond (Washington) Police
Departments. In addition to having the police experience under his belt Kilnger has also received
an impressive amount of education. Kilnger holds a Masters degree in justice from American
University in Washington, D.C., and a doctorate in sociology from the University of Washington
in Seattle. (p.289) Kilnger has also held research positions at the Police Foundation in
