Since we are in our first week of class and we haven’t yet covered any material yet, I will
simply discuss some information that I have researched on the topic of Anthropology. The first
bit of information that popped up was a quote from Eric Wolf that states ‘making the familiar
exotic and the exotic familiar’. It has also been described as ‘the most humanistic of the sciences
