“School Safety, Violence, Guns, and Bullying”
One of the most discussed and debated topics in the educational system of the United
States of America is the school violence, bullying, cyberbullying, weapons, and mass shootings
that also take place in schools. The articles by Hughes, Gaines, Pryor, Payne, Smith, Bridges,
Tober, Gereluk, Donlevy and Thompson go very deeply into these issues and discuss the issue
itself and possible strategies that could combat the problems that we facing as a school
community.
For the past decades United States of America have been facing the issue of mass
shootings taking place in churches, schools, concerts, and other places where people gather
together and whenever such tragedy take place, our politicians and local activists start asking for
