Political Research has long focused primarily on analysis of the current so-called modern
industrialized societies and their political systems. In the second half of the 20th century,
however, appeared among the political scientists effort to shift research interest also to the

industialized societies and modern states.
From 2nd half of the 20th century appear first studies of non-European and non-Western
societies and states.
Contemporary Political Research use especially comparative research methods and lay an
increasing emphasis on non-European countries analysis, respectively. Non-Western
societies.
In particular, a significant time period, which started todays growing interest in so-called
non-modern societies and their political sphere has become the turn of the 50th and 60 of
the 20th century when in the international political scene emerge a large number of new
autonomous (or autonomously-looking and independent experts for the autonomous

differences of the situation in these countries, the roots of the conflicts and looking for such
a theory, that would be able to explain individual differences in development between
countries.
