The following theories assist the relationship of the Learning environment in
relation to the student’s Holistic Health and Wellness. The first theory is Holism. Holism
is the theory that the parts of any whole cannot exist and cannot be understood except in
their relation to the whole; “holism holds that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”
One of the theories suggest that an individual’s concentration works best when
activities are being held. David H. Jonassen, and Lucia RohrerMurphy’s Activity Theory
aims to analyze the human’s activity system. Since learning is most effective when the
consciousness of an individual is at it its highest point, Jonassen and Rohrer-Murphy
CLEs should attempt to replicate the activity structures, tools and sign systems, socio
cultural rules, and community expectations that performers must accommodate while
acting on some object of learning.
