Introduction
In this paper, I will give an in-depth analysis of the issue in the article, “The wrong way
to protest a president” by Marc A. Thiessen. I will start by analyzing Marc’s article as well as his
conclusion, reasons and whether the issue is descriptive or prescriptive. In addition, I will
continue to examine the author’s use of assumptions, loaded language, and ambiguous phrases
presented in this article. In the end, this paper will also includes a conclusion and an overall
analysis of the article.
