The World Bank of China
China is the manufacturing capital of the world. This characteristic alone gives China the
ability to be an extremely powerful and influential nation, both of which are true. The political
super power that is China has proposed an idea to create a new world bank. In October of 2013,
President on China, Xi Jinping, announced the idea of China’s own world bank called The Asian
Infrastructure Investment Bank, or AIIB (AIIB.org).
