I​ ​believe​ ​that​ ​the​ ​United​ ​States​ ​is​ ​still​ ​changing​ ​in​ ​terms​ ​of​ ​ethnic​ ​diversity,​ ​racism,​ ​and
acceptance​ ​of​ ​other​ ​cultures.​ ​​ ​According​ ​to​ ​the​ ​Migration​ ​Policy​ ​Institute​ ​tabulation​ ​of​ ​data​ ​from
the​ ​U.S.​ ​Census​ ​Bureau’s​ ​2010​ ​and​ ​2013​ ​American​ ​Community​ ​Surveys,​ ​and​ ​1970-2000
decennial​ ​Census​ ​data,​ ​the​ ​immigrant​ ​population​ ​has​ ​steadily​ ​increased​ ​from​ ​4.7%​ ​of​ ​the
population​ ​to​ ​13.1%.​ ​​ ​The​ ​groups​ ​that​ ​are​ ​entering​ ​are​ ​changing​ ​as​ ​we​ ​are​ ​seeing​ ​more
