Since the 21st century, with the further expansion of globalization, the security issues
faced by mankind have become more complex, and the traditional security issues have
been insufficient to cover the security threats faced by people, which is also the reason
for the emergence of the relevant definition of non-traditional security. This paper
mainly discusses and analyzes the relationship between human insecurity and non–
traditional security.
Non-traditional security is also known as the “new security problem”. Different from
traditional security, non-traditional security is more inclined to regard individuals and
society as the security subjects rather than just the state. Non-traditional security
issues specifically refer to non-military security threats that human society has not
encountered or rarely seen in the past. These threats may be deliberate or non-man-
made, or may be caused by states or individuals, organizations or groups, such as
terrorism. From the perspective of its influence, non-traditional security issues will
