The Presidency and the Fourth Branch
Bureaucracy is a system of government where important decisions are made
by local state governments instead of elected officials. The United States
bureaucratic system is meant to help relieve the three major branches of
government. The government operates off of a proxy system, where legislature and
major branches of government make and pass laws. Most of the time bureaucrats
pay people to do the work for them.
The bureaucracy is also known as “ the fourth branch “, plays a big role in
enforcing the laws, which are passed by the judicial, executive and legislative
branches; but is a predecessor to the presidential branch. The fourth branch
