“The person crossed the street”
The tennis ball was thrown; Nicolas—without looking— ran across the road as a
truck came to a halting stop. I have made significant changes to the given sentence, “The
person crossed the street”. The first major change I made was incorporating an animal to
make the scene more dramatic. The second change is was adding a plot to the sentence to
help my reader understand what is going on. Lastly, I replaced the word “street” with
“road”. With the changes made, I intend to give the reader a clear picture of the
