Reaction Paper 1 The Neuroethological Paradox of Animal Consciousness
This very detailed and well-structured article discusses Yoram Gutfreund’s point of
view on the neuroscientific study of animal consciousness and thus highlights his scientific
conclusions on phenomenal consciousness. Although such a mysterious question has been
wondered since the existence of human life, the last couple of decades have been crucial as an
effort to provide a clear explanation. According to the author, the essential neuroetheological
paradox of animal consciousness can be assumed as three different postulates are provided.
Whereas human beings do not understand how any brain produces consciousness but also
