The Mystery of Jesus’ Identity in Mark’s Gospel
In the Mark 12:35-37, instead of answering question, Jesus asked a question:
“while he taught in the temple, how say the scribes that Christ is the son of David?”
So Jesus did not straight said who he is. And later “David therefore himself calleth
him Lord; and whence is he then his son?” People may think Messiah just son of
David and will behavior like David. However, Jesus let them realize that he, the
Messiah is also son of LORD, and so Messiah will have power from LORD, and
