The Masquerade of the Red Death Analysis
After many considerations, I have decided to base my analysis essay on a short story titled ‘The
Masquerade of the Red Death’ by Edgar Allen Poe. In my perspective, I believe that this short
story is high culture kind of one due to the fact that it was published back in the 1800s,
specifically in the year 1842. In those day, everything was so formal and more elegant. The story
Poe had written was about a Prince and his many friends and nobles seeking refuge in his
castellated abbeys trying to escape the Red Death, a plague which would be able to kill
everything and everyone in its way. I admire Poe’s story and how he puts it because I feel that
