Speech-Writer’s Log #1
When a person wants to convey a message to a certain audience—either friend, coworker,
family or employee—is better to follow the ethical standards of universal communication
than simply delivering a message. Anyone can deliver a message; however, the quality on
which how you deliver it is what defines you as a great communicator. Many people tend
to just get to the point when they are talking, which is good in some occasions, but
sometimes the situation in which the person is involved does not match the type of speech
the person is giving. For that reason, is better if people know the type of audience that they
are dealing with, because it becomes easier to express the message.
I believe that what if a communicator wants people to know him or her as authentic, than
his or her message has to be authentic. When people decide to put a lie into a discussion,
that person immediately loses credibility. Many people believe that putting a little lie into
your conversation–to get to a point—would not be noticed; however, other people that will
probably have more knowledge than you on the theme you are discussing about, will be
able to notice. Therefore, is just easier to express your message without insinuating other
things, or inventing actions that never happen just to prove a point, in the end you will be
