In order for a company to be considered admirable it must have some the following
characteristics. For example, they must show solid profit, stable growth, a safe and challenging work
environment, high quality goods and services, good business ethics or good social responsibilities. From
the list provided of by “Fortune’s Top Ten Most Admired Companies” the ones that stood out to me
immediately were Apple and Google.
Apple has come be known as a world brand where their logo of an apple is universally known
everywhere. This company could possibly have everything that was mentioned in order for a company
to be considered admirable. Apple shows a trend of solid profit that shows that over the last five years
their Revenue has increased 76.04% and net income has increased 152.66%. Another trend that shows
this company is at admirable status is the numbers it provides for showing a stable growth. Based on
some research Apple shows 43.62% in sales growth over the last five years. This shows that their sales
have kept a steady growth. Lastly, no research has to be done to know that Apple is manufacturer of high
