1) What does it mean for a startup to get “stuck in the land of the living dead”?
It simply means that the company has made enough of a success to stay alive, although
it may not have reached the expectations the founder might have wanted it’s still better
than failure. And if they are not able to pivot from the feedback of the marketplace then
they will not grow.
2) What is meant by a zoom-in pivot?
Is preciously considered single feature in a product that becomes the whole product.
3) What is a customer segment pivot?
It is when the product hypothesis is partially comforted, solving the right problems bur
for a different customer.
4) What is a platform pivot?
This is reference from an application to a platform or vice versa.
5) What are the two ways of measuring the length of your startup’s runway?
Two ways of measuring the length of my startups runway is a customer segment pivot
and engine of growth pivot.
6) Who should attend a pivot or persevere meeting?
I think that a companies who would need to attend a pivot, would be all major clothing
departments stores who are currently struggling through the retail apocalypse. They
need to see a way for redoing the way they do business to show consumers and
shareholders that they are still profitable.
