3, 2, 1………… Take off!
The deep voice of a countdown and a mind bobbling view of a space shuttle being lifted off
toward infinity is something that has triggered my instincts; to become someone who has the
same impact when he takes off! Lying down in on an anti-gravity simulation in NASA space
camp, I could hear the countdown, synchronizing with the sound of the blood pumping through
my head as I go weightless. This countdown as I already mentioned fascinates me with how it
ends, the flare, speed, thrill and imaginative power of a human to conquer beyond the limits of
his world is a sight worth seeing. During my visit to NASA space camp, I realized a lot of things;
the zero-gravity training aimed at teaching the concept of how to handle you, in a completely
different environment. This activity took me back in time when I was neither happy nor
satisfied with my surroundings, the time when I was this irritable and splenetic kid who was
plunging into an ambitionless life. Maybe I was an exception or just being out of proportion.
I took everything for granted at that time, and I needed a change, a different perspective about
life. I was not an emotional wreck or a troublemaker, but I was not able to define time and its
importance. I wanted a perfect environment for the optimal level of working. My surroundings
were supposed to be perfect at that time for me to be positive.
Tracing back in time, an event which changed my perspective of how I observed the world, was
