KETOGENIC DIET 2
Abstract
This paper focuses on the negative side of the ketogenic diet which is one aspect that is easily
overlooked. The research concluded that the ketogenic diet is not suitable for people who do
not have a disease. The ketogenic diet is not suitable for everyone, although research has
shown that it can be helpful in cancer patients (Campos, 2018). The best candidates for the
ketogenic diet are those with special conditions who have prescribed the diet by a doctor.
Because the ketogenic diet can cause a series of side effects in life, each person may have a
different experience. The ketogenic diet is also a very troublesome diet, which requires strict
control and selection of foods, which makes it hard to follow. Those who follow a ketone diet
are prone to cumbersome steps and cravings for carbohydrates, and if people give up, it leads
to a rebound in weight.

Rudy Mawer (2018) posted an article on the Health Line which concluded that: “A
ketogenic diet may provide many health benefits, especially with metabolic, neurological or
insulin-related diseases.” Many ordinary people are attracted to the idea that it can provide a
quick solution to weight loss. Advocates of the ketone, or “keto,” diet claim that it can turn

performing a ketogenic diet and the cumbersome implementation of the ketogenic diet. These
ketones are produced after decomposing the fat source. These fats also include the fat from
the food and the body’s natural fat storage to lose weight. Is the ketogenic diet healthy? I
