The Importance of Learning Inclusion in a Vastly Diverse World
Over the last fifty years, our world has become inherently more diverse with an array of
cultures spanning across the entire globe. Today, diversity is not just part of the business realm,
but it is also a part of our everyday lives. Every day we run into someone that has been
influenced by something different from one of us, which is the very definition of diversity. There
are some problems that someone could run into when dealing with the diversity of others:
language barriers, differing cultures and societal norms, educational gap, and religious
differences. However, there is a way for us to navigate these problems; cultural intelligence
offers a way to work through the diversity in an effective and satisfying way. For example,
suppose you and your family were given a promotion that required you to move to another
