The Impact of Today’s Internet Use
The Internet is registering an initial impact on everyday life in America. In the essay, “Is
Google Making Us Stupid?” by Nicholas Carr, emphasizes how difficult it is for people to focus
on their everyday life because of how accessible and convenient the internet has become. It has
become a tool for conducting our everyday activities. Carr later states that the activities without
