Throughout the documentary of The Hunting Ground it unfolds the social justice of
advocacy efforts in regards to sexual assaults on college campuses. The film begins introducing
a victim, Annie Clark, as well as many others college girls, as they share their horrifying story
and experiences in dealing with that sexual assaults that have happened to them. Using the 12
steps to advocacy based on his documentary I have identified the strategies they have
employed for this effort. The first step is identifying the problem and collecting data. The
problem presented in this documentary is that college girls at parties as well as dorms are being
sexually assaulted and after the incident occurs they are faced with similar problems. One,
