Literature that is written about dystopian societies usually does a great job in drawing
very eerie similarities to our present day reality. While also drawing us out of our mundane day
to day themes and routines, and introducing us to an alternate universe. For example, The
Hunger Games novel shows us that a lot of things that happen in their fictional capitol also take
place in our country. The events that take place in The Hunger Games can sometimes be seen
