Hip Hop Documentary
The Hip Hop Years documentary was about the progression of hip hop though the years.
Hip hop started from the South Bronx in the 1970’s where there was a lot of gang activity. Hip
hop was the genera to out sell all other genres such as R&B and took over Rock n Roll. In other
words, Hip Hop became the “new Rock n Roll.” It also talked about cross over pop (disco) in
the 70’s and a lot of big timers who made Hip Hop what it is today such as Russel Simmons,
Ice-T, Ice Cube, Run-D.M.C. and many many more.
