The Golden Arches
The United States revolutionized in countless ways over the past one hundred and fifty
years, and has experienced countless of icons that shape our current culture. Food itself just so
happens to say a lot about culture and one icon in particular is McDonald’s. This famous
industry was the model that every fast food chain would soon follow and has single handedly
affected many aspects of our general culture from health, the environment, and our economy.
