The glory of Dallas and the ways to preserve it
Being the ninth most populous metropolitan city of the United States with diversified
population of almost 1.318 million people, Dallas is one of the major economic hubs of the
nation. With almost a quarter of foreign born population, Dallas has been an attractive place to
the immigrants’ which might be due to the availability of job opportunities, infrastructures, lower
cost of living and its continuous growth in the economy. Along with that, the presence of the
several major universities have also attracted many people to gain their higher education in
Dallas. Being in the second largest economic state of the United States, Dallas has been the
center of the major corporations and industries which has helped the people to gain the
employment opportunities. Thus, the unemployment rate of the city of Dallas is 4.1% which is
lower than the national average of 4.3% as of April 2017. The thriving rate of population
increase in Dallas metropolitan area have also caused some hurdles along with the increase on
human capital. The availability of transportation, health services, education and increase in
crimes have been hampering the people of Dallas which should be taken care of promptly. In
order to maintain peace and stability amongst the people and surge more developmental works in
the city of Dallas, this city needs the Senate who is capable and visionary who is able to
understand how to enrich the name of Dallas and the uniqueness of it that separates it from all
other cities.

Even though there is high availability of the job opportunities and educational institutions
in Dallas, many people are still cannot afford education, health and other basic needs. In order to
help the people who are living in minimal wage and low living standard, the cost of education
and health for the people residing in the county should be made lower. The growing population
of Dallas also means that the schools and health services should also be grown so that people
would not have to be in the long queues to get their basic needs. Also, the hospital facilities in
the county should be increased as many people visit the county hospitals the most due to its cost
effectiveness and efficiency.
Dallas being a huge city, most of the people depend upon their own private transportation
or the public transportation for going their designated places. Thus, maintenance and
restructuring of the highways should be done in order to minimize the traffic and to ensure the
