The Four-Level American Wing
The Four-Level American Wing is a Collection of American Art, each level represent a
different century of art work. Level LG represents the 17th century; they also have some portraits
from the early 18th century. My favorite art work from this section is the “100-gun ship of the
line”. The ship was believe to be made in about 1715-1719,it’s a very detailed ship I like so
many things about it but my favorite are the men riding the horse in the front. It’s perfect for a
battleship, goes well with all the cannons that are in each side of the ship. It’s a ship not to be
reckoned with. The back of the ship have a very nice decoration also, sculptures of people
outline the back of the ship. It’s definitely one of most beautiful ship I ever seen.
