In the introduction of “The end of forgetting: Growing up with Social Media,” author
Kate Eichron explains that there are two types of media periods: the analogue media and the
digital media. Eichhorn defines the analogue era as the act of having a photograph that represents
a memory which can be easily erase and never get it back that memory and there’s the digital
media which contrast the analogue era. The digital media is what today youth use in order to
upload pictures of them to show it to the world. She realizes that there is an excessive
documentation that people use in the digital media. The author describes the fear of parents
because of the extreme use of internet in children and adolescence and the consequences of it.
The results of excessive internet that the author talks are that childhood can disappear not being
able to remember their past. But that is not the real danger, if not the contrary a childhood that
