The effects of the Internet to Body and Mind
It has been known that the generation we live in is basically surrounded by technology
and technology is what this generation will mostly know of. Ever since the 2nd millennium began,
technology companies and products have had an enormous increase in many homes and
companies in the world. Although this was good for a moment, many people have experienced
the downside that this new innovative technology has had to people. Many would say that this is
an addiction. The effect of the internet harms our brain because of the information we want to
attain and the misunderstanding that the internet is the only source for information. Looking at a
digital screen effects your eyes and mind more than looking at paper with the same amount of
information. Not only psychological but in the long term detrimental to your health. Before
technology people used to enjoy sitting down to read a good book, but that has significantly
changed over the past years. Somewhere among all this new technology the simple book has got
pushed aside.
When talking about the effects of the internet on our minds one can conclude that there
may be an addiction not only to some but to the majority of people who use it. This addiction
comes with people’s addiction of wanting to be intelligent and wanting to know everything. In
this day in age, when asked a question, one would like to give a detailed answer to fully answer
the question. When someone does not know the answer it becomes mental. The urge to know
