Introduction and Description of Movie
The Devil Wears Prada is a seemingly basic chick flick comedy about the fashion world,
but dwelling deeper into the storyline will bring up many industrial organizational constructs.
The feature character, Andrea Sachs (played by Anne Hathaway) is a newly graduated journalist
desiring a job at a New York newspaper, but finds herself applying as a junior personal assistant
to Editor-in-Chief Miranda Priestly (played by Meryl Streep) of the prestigious Runway maga-
zine. Andrea is not very fashionable, nor does she know much at all about the fashion world. An-
drea is quickly swept up into the fast-paced work environment that is Runway magazine as a
temporary experience position, and did not think much of the opportunity. Throughout the
movie, various transformations occur to main character Andrea in which she begins to take her
