Introduction:
Corporation is a group of individuals working to serve a variety of objectives. The principle
is to maximize the shareholders’ profit. Originally, the term corporation is to describe an
association for a group of people; they got gather to service public interest such as building a
bridge in a community. During civil war and industrial revolution, more and more corporation
emerged and the term corporation became a representation of business.
The documentary film, the Corporation, presents the history of corporations, reveals how
corporations can operate unethically, and leads our society to rethink how corporations should
operate and their responsibility.
