Having the power to accept the uniqueness of each of everyone, according to the

against by their own kind of Nationality.
that is why the indigenous people complain to the
government to give them the right not only for their land
but also for them as human beings.
Due to the reason that Indigenous people don’t have the
security and don’t get any benefits from the government
even though that they are the ones who keep and protect
the culture of the country.
“If no one can acknowledge
indigenous people, they
will acknowledge it for
you.”
The UNESCO has an idea on how to preserve the Indigenous culture there are
two approaches the first one is to preserve the living form to ensure that it
can pass throughout generations and the second is transmitting the
knowledge to the youth so that they are the one who will continue the
culture.
According to the Republic Act No. 8371, STATES THAT AN ACT TO
RECOGNIZE, PROTECT AND PROMOTE THE RIGHTS OF
INDIGENOUS CULTURAL COMMUNITIES/INDIGENOUS PEOPLES,
CREATING A NATIONAL COMMISSION ON INDIGENOUS
PEOPLES, ESTABLISHING IMPLEMENTING MECHANISMS,
APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
The Culture of the nation starts within the Language that the people are
using, there are 120 to 175 languages in the Philippines according to Racoma,
( 2014). However, there are 11 languages that are dying.
just like Medical Field the government also spent a little amount
of money to fund them and they will take granted to the
Indigenous community by claiming their lands to create modern
civilization. Moreover, According to the reports of the Katribu
there are recorded 37 cases of extrajudicial executions of
indigenous peoples, 62 illegal arrests, 21 political prisoners, 20

There is also many programs that are given to the indigenous people for
them to claim their rights as human being as well. Moreover, there are TESDA
who gives training and teach them what they want to learn, but also on what
they want to achieve as a person.
