The Commercial Real Estate Market in New York City through Massey Knakal
The Real Estate market has several sub-markets usually determined by geographical location,
New York City is one of the worlds most profitable and expansive real estate sub-markets allowing for
investment sale, development and financing of any type of property from huge office towers to smaller
multifamily homes. For the sake of this depiction of the New York City real estate market the focus will
be on the Manhattan and Bronx boroughs, what determines the market price in these areas and also
how a building is valued as an investment, user, comparable and development property.
Currently I am interning with Massey Knakal Realty Services, New York Cities number one
commercial real estate investment sales brokerage firm that specializes in the sale, lease and mortgage
