The Chinese Education System
Education in China is a state-run system of public education. At present, China
mainland adopts the nine-year compulsory education system. It means children must
finish their primary and second school, and their tuition fees are free. The compulsory
education help lots of Chinese children who live in the countryside, and low household
income families get opportunities to take basic education since April, 1986. Before the
compulsory education implement in China, lots of children live in the country side or
poor area cannot get education. There are some reasons of children cannot get education,
firstly, their parents didn’t have enough education background and have low household
income: the whole family annual income may only be 10,000 to 20,000 RMB. As a
