The Brain of a Serial Killer
A serial killer is defined as a person who murders three or more persons in at least three
separate events with a “cooling off” period between kills. The murders are usually performed in
a unique fashion and the killer has a signature that they are often known for. Serial killers are
often compared to mass murderers, but serial killers do not follow the mass murderer format
where there aren’t any breaks in between the murders. Serial killers also tend to have
characteristics and psychological problems that highlights the fact that they are murderers.
