The History and Divers Contentions of the Arab-Israeli Conflict

This year marked the one hundredth year from, what most consider, the beginning of the
Arab-Israeli Conflict, leading into what it stands now. For in the year 1917 Britain set into
motion a course to “[establish] in Palestine a national home for the Jewish people” with the
Balfour Declaration. This would soon lead to Arab revolts and middle eastern wars against the
newly established Israeli country which would continue even until the present day. However, the
complications that envelop the Arab-Israeli Conflict are a bit more divers than what most people
have deducted from the situation.
