Obamacare’s Negative Influence
Healthcare in recent years has a steady growth in both cost of care and technology. It has
created the need for more health care professionals to take care of the United States growing and
aging population. Our 44th President, Barack Obama, while in office decided to take this issue
head on, create and implement what is known as The Affordable Care Act, also “The Patriot
Protection Act (PPACA)” or better known as “Obamacare”. It was signed into law March 23,
2010 by President Obama. The Health Care Law comes with a price, one that many say will
slow the economy, raise taxes, and hurt both the health care industry and business. As we
explore this topic, I hope that you can see that Obamacare is in great need of reform and was put
into place with haste and not much in depth study.
