May is the time of the year in the speaker. It is beginning to become fall with falling leaves and yellow
trees. It is getting cold that causes a shake. No more choirs or bird due to the weather. The speaker sees
changes in one’s self. The sun is setting in the west, which causes it to be dark. While its nighttime
everyone is at rest. The speaker can be seen glowing in the night. The truth cannot be concealed.
Everyone has an expiration date. Given all the things that helped the speaker grow. The one that gets is
makes love stronger. Love will last for a long time before it must leave.
“Death, be not proud” by John Donne
Death is being referred to as a being is and is being leveled. You cannot overthrow, yet death can not kill
the speaker. Rest and sleep are where dreams can be seen. Resting and sleep is pleasure to the mind.
Letting go and flow will conquer the best men. The bones will stay, and the soul will be delivered. We
are condemned to fate, and chance. And are subject to poison, war, and sickness. Different charms help
us sleep. Rest is better than a brain blood clot. We sleep temporally, but are awake forever. Death shall
be no more begone with death !
