In the picture Banksy painted you see a little girl in a dress and leggings, with an upset
look upon her face. She has short dark hair blowing in the wind. She looks as though she is going
to cry because her balloon blew away. She has one arm dangling by her leg and the other is
stretched out to the sky reaching for her balloon. But she can only reach so far, she can’t grab it.
Her balloon is a red heart shape with a long black string, so the girl can hold onto the balloon.
The girl is the only person in the picture and the balloon is the only object. If you look to the left,
you’ll see the phrase “There is always hope”. I take that as the little girl lost her balloon and she
now has no hope to get it back, but you remind yourself there is always hope and then you can
achieve anything. Sure, it may not be the same pretty red heart shaped balloon as the one she had
but she might get another kind of balloon. The only color in this picture is the balloon. It’s as if
