Texas Department of Transportation
The Texas Department of Transportation is a government organization
in the United States state of Texas. Though the public face of the agency is
usually related with the building and conservation of the state’s enormous
road system, the group is also responsible for supervision flying, rail, and
public transportation systems in the state. At one time, they also controlled
vehicle registration but this task moved to the Texas Department of Motor
Vehicles.
