Arch’s Island Trip
It was a wonderful, Sunday morning, when I come up and the very first thing I saw, a
beautiful shoreline with the sun just rising and its reflections glazing on the ocean. I brushed my
teeth, got dressed, ate breakfast and headed off to the nearby train station. As I waited for the
train to arrive, I tried to sync in the panorama view of trees, crops, the village people, the homes,
the school, and of course, the church where father Crosby worked at, into my brain so I can
remember this amazing view. The train came, I hopped onto it and off it went. During the middle
of the train ride we passed by Lake Moru, an ancient lake told to be created by a small meteorite.
Nobody knows how the water came but the taste of it is a lifetime experience. So as I watched
the lake sparkle and glisten, I remembered my mom telling me about Arch’s River, River
