Temperature Measurement
Temperature is an extremely important part of our world, from the changing of the
leaves, to the warmth of your coffee, and let’s not forget that no one likes hot beer. It is one of
the most important measurement parameters that is used for monitoring and control and
almost all of the different types of industries. Temperature measurement goes back to 1641
with the first sealed thermometer, and has developed into all different types of ways to
measure it.
The history of temperature measurement goes back to the 17th century where Claudius
Galenus mixed equal amounts of ice and water in search for a neutral temperature. The
