Teen Pregnancy
Teen pregnancies have always been a hot topic in the United States. There are many
people who believe teen mom shows on MTV are the reason why birth rates have increased over
the years. However it may not be the shows that are the problem. Maybe the reason why the
United States has such high teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease rates is because
students are not being taught about safe sex. Instead, they are being taught sex is bad and they
should avoid it all together. Instead of students being taught that mindset, schools should start
handing out condoms, and having them take classes on how to have safe sex. Many students are
going to be sexually active whether or not teachers and parents realize or want it.
Many of students these days are embarrassed having to buy condoms because society has
