In this world, today of the 21st century, we are advancing in many ways, especially in
technology. Cars are getting better, phones are getting smarter, and medicine is becoming more
effective. However, the constant advancement in technology can sometimes change things in a
negative way. For instance, these days in “communications technology”, we are constantly trying
to make it easier for people to connect and talk to each other in far places. Although it doesn’t fail
to accomplish these tasks, during the process, it leads to people who are users of the device
becoming a lot less communicative towards each other. It also pushes people to find themselves
being more alienated, and less able to express themselves as individuals verbally and non-
verbally. It is kind of ironic how something that is made to help communication between humans
develop actually worsens our other qualities in communication such as confidence.
Technology has played a major impact on today’s generation. Especially cell phones
and televisions which have been a barrier to intellectual growth. The common use of the device
is destroying education, individual health in both physical and psychological aspect, and social
lifestyle. Every amazing thing in this world has its perks and unfortunately, technology is no
different compared to other cases. In most cases, inventors are aware that their products have the
potential of causing harm to consumers of their product but because they conclude that the
benefits outweigh the risks, they choose to still let their products into the market. This approach
