Technology
The great city of New Orleans with its venerable coastal water, endless swamp lands,
river, lakes streams and being below sea level, leaves this city venerable to flooding and other
natural disasters. As an Emergency Manger, one should know what the community need are,
what are the hazards that may arise, what technology is available, and what is a must have and
what is a want, as well as keeping in the budget that is giving. Technology is ever changing,
getting better, making it a much easier task to predict, prepare, and inform about disasters.
