Effective teamwork, what stands behind?
To revise issues stands behind an effective teamwork we need to introduce the definition
of teamwork. “The process of working collaboratively with a group of people in order to achieve
a goal. Teamwork is often a crucial part of a business, as it is often necessary for colleagues to
work well together, trying their best in any circumstance. Teamwork means that people will try
to cooperate, using their individual skills and providing constructive feedback, despite any
personal conflict between individuals.1”
So, now we can divide teamwork into three different parts: forming a team and goal
setting; performance; performance evaluation.
Forming a team and setting its goals.
This part of teamwork can go in two ways: goal-> form or form-> goal. It depends from a
company, situation, team-leader principles e t.c. Forming a team of individuals can be a very
complicated task. Why? First of all, team-leader should understand whom he need. Therefore, he
must know a preliminary cast of a team. Which roles? How many? When every person takes his
or her contribution? Secondly, team-leader must find a way to make a constructive channel
between personal (individual) goals and team goal. In the most of cases individual and team
