Functional:
Billy excels in school. Pay attention in class, asks questions and receives good marks in school. Billy
seems to have lots of friends and close relationships with students in and out of school. Billy has a neat,
clean appearance and seems to have good personal hygiene.
Dysfunctional:
Philly is quiet and withdrawn in the classroom setting. Does not ask questions and often does not
complete homework. Philly is having trouble in the class, falling behind and unable to catch up. He often
misses class and doesn’t seem to have any friends. Philly, often comes to class looking disheveled and
lacks in the hygiene department.
