When a patient comes into the ER and becomes an inpatient for a hospital, the patient
wants the best possible care available and the physician should take pride in the quality of care
the patient is receiving. There are many different standards of care that range from physician to
physician and even facility to facility, but one thing remains the same, each needs to have a team
based approach. This means the entire staff have one goal/objective in mind when a patient
walks through the door. We will discuss the journey that this patient received during the visit and
stay at a facility and explore the quality of care, team based approach from the faciality, and
financial side. The sample is true, but the name has been changed for HIPPA proposes.
